7. Team Management
Click Settings near the bottom of the sidebar, then Team.
7.1 The team list
You see every active member of your organization. For each row:
- Name and email
- Role (Admin or Member)
- Whether they have a pending invite or have accepted
7.2 Inviting a teammate
Click Invite member. Enter their email, choose Admin or Member. They get an invite email. When they click and create a login, they join your organization.
Seat limits per plan: Starter 5, Professional 15, and custom plans are tailored to the organization. If you hit the limit, the invite is blocked until you remove a member or change your plan.
7.3 Changing a role
Open a team member's row, click their role, choose a new one. Takes effect immediately.
7.4 Removing a member
Open the row, click Remove. They lose access to the app immediately. If they are signed in at the time, their existing session can retain prior access for up to about an hour, until their sign-in token refreshes. Their historical actions (exceptions, assignments) stay in the audit trail with their name, so removing a member does not erase history.
7.5 Two roles, on purpose
We deliberately kept the role model to two: Admin and Member. We tried five (admin, manager, editor, viewer, superuser) in an earlier version and the surface area created more support tickets than it solved problems. Most of our customer accounts have two to four people; a complex permission grid does not match the reality.
Admin can do everything: invite, billing, settings, scan, fix, report. Member can do everything except billing and invites. That is the entire model.
