5. Reports

The PDF report is what you bring to council, share with your auditor, file with your accessibility statement, and use to justify a budget request.

5.1 Generating a report

The Export menu at the top right of the dashboard downloads your full findings list as a spreadsheet (CSV) your team, your vendor, or your procurement office can work from today.

You can also generate formatted PDF reports directly from the dashboard with the Compliance Packet Builder (see Section 5.3).

5.2 The "My Reports" tab

The My Reports tab lists the readiness report cards generated for your organization, each with a download link and status. Packets you build in the Compliance Packet Builder are saved by your browser when you print them, and are not listed here.

5.3 Compliance Packet Builder

The Compliance Packet Builder formats the same underlying scan data into two ready-to-share documents: a DOJ Compliance Packet (full defensible documentation for Title II readiness) and a Council / Board Deck (an executive slide presentation for elected officials). Set your branding, then use Generate and Print to save each as a PDF.

5.4 What a full report includes

  • A cover with the Readiness Score, letter grade, and date of the scan
  • A methodology disclosure stating exactly what was scanned, what kind of testing was used (automated, AI-assisted, and applicability evidence), and which WCAG criteria were evaluated.
  • The Title II deadline that applies to your jurisdiction
  • The list of findings (or a summary, depending on the template)
  • The Deferred Findings appendix
  • A page index so a reviewer can jump to any specific page

The Council / Board Deck is a shorter executive summary for presenting to officials, and intentionally omits the methodology disclosure, Deferred Findings appendix, and page index.

We deliberately do not put "WCAG 2.1 Level AA compliant" or "ADA compliant" anywhere on the report. We say "readiness" because that is what the report measures.

5.5 Sharing reports

The PDF is yours. Email it, post it to your accessibility statement page, hand it to your auditor, attach it to a funding request. AuditAble does not need to be involved in the distribution.

A future feature (Public Status Page in the More section of the sidebar) will let you publish a public-facing summary of your Readiness Score and remediation progress. It is a roadmap item; we will email you when it ships.
