A plain-English walk through the AuditAble dashboard. Written so a department manager, IT generalist, or city clerk can read it cover to cover without prior accessibility training and end up able to run the product, defend its results in a council meeting, and explain what it does (and what it does not do) to a procurement officer or a vendor.
This is the canonical user guide for the product. The same source file feeds the in-app help pages.
A note before you start. AuditAble is built for state and local governments preparing for the U.S. Department of Justice's Title II accessibility rule. The product helps your team find, prioritize, and resolve accessibility issues on your public websites. It is not a legal certification tool. No automated product can certify that a website is "ADA compliant," and AuditAble will never claim to. What it can do is give you a clear picture of where you stand against the technical standard (WCAG 2.1 Level AA) that the DOJ rule references, and a concrete list of fixes you can work through.
